PhotoBiotics has an active, widely experienced and engaged Board, comprising

• Dr Till Medinger (Non-executive Chairman)
• Dr Elizabeth Rollinson (Non-executive Director)
• Dr Mahendra Deonarain (Non-executive Founder Director)
• Mr George Brown (Non-executive Director)
• Mr Paul Arnott (CEO)

The founding scientific core team comprises

• Dr Lionel Milgrom (Director of Publicity & Founder Member)
• Dr Gokhan Yahioglu (Technical Director: Chemistry. Dr Yahioglu is a full-time employee of the company)
• Dr Mahendra Deonarain (Technical Director: Biotechnology and consultant scientific adviser)
• Prof David Phillips OBE

The founders all have distinguished scientific careers and direct and relevant experience and expertise (see CVs at end of this page). Specifically:

• Dr Milgrom and Dr Yahioglu are experts in the design, synthesis and characterisation of the types of molecules used as PDT agents:
• Prof Phillips is a world expert on the photophysics of PDT and on the use of lasers in chemistry.
• Dr Deonarian is an expert on the design and manufacture of antibodies and antibody fragments needed to improve the targeting of PDT drugs. His group has the capability for in vivo testing on cancer models

As well as the founders the Company has recruited two post doctoral scientists in year one.
